What is The TAVERN at The Stage House? The Tavern is an every day alternative to the commonly frequented chain restaurants and taverns in the area. The Tavern at the stage house will serve up rustic American fare in a vibrant, energetic tavern setting, with hearty portions, great cocktails, and ice cold beer, all while emphasizing extreme value. Hours of Operation: The Kitchen is open Seven days a week starting at 11:30 and serves continuously until 10:00pm Monday -Thursday, 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday and 9:00pm on Sunday The Bar: The bar is a 35 seat bar with comfortable stools, unobtrusive lighting 10 flat screen televisions which will provide background, but not dominate the ambiance. We will offer an eclectic variety of world class beers, featuring 6 draft beers and a moderate selection of bottle beer along with a specialty drinks list with over 100 drinks prepared will flare and style. The bartenders are well trained and possess a level of flare and style appropriate for the stage house.
The Food: Rustic American Fare: comfort food, emphasizing, grilled and smoky flavors, at extreme value.
Setting: ‘THE DUELL BARN Originally located on Raritan Rd. Built about 1790. Disassembled and moved to its’ present location in 1961.'
Ambiance: Keeping with the historic barn motif, we are focusing on wood and wrought iron with the bar and the custom chandelier as the focal points of the room. Seating on multiple floors and outdoors. Tables and chairs are all wood and topped modestly, with silverware, napkin and house-made condiments. Service will be swift and unobtrusive. Live music eventually on the weekends with varying styles to appeal to all.
